"Summer With The Wolves" is King Kofi's debut studio effort delving deep into what it means to live in a world that constantly fails to recognise what you are truly capable of, where you have come from, and the struggles one must face in order to achieve their full potential. The LP sits at 13 tracks long, with a running time of 46 minutes. Despite being deeply routed in hip-hop/rap, this project alone covers a wide range of musical genres; ranging from indie/folk, to trap, to experimental and even glazes over some punk-rock. King Kofi manages to string all of these sonic influences together in a cohesive way, showing off his artistry and diversity within his chosen art-form. “Summer With The Wolves LP” has King Kofi wearing his idols on his sleeve, paying homage to the artists that have inspired him in the past, including Eminem, Drake, The Naked and Famous & The Middle East.

After the release of 2016's SoundCloud/Bandcamp exclusive "Just A Dude In Need Of A Chance" it is interesting to see where King Kofi has taken his music next. King Kofi was recently featured in Clash Magazine and London In Stereo's month of May playlist alongside Chance, The Rapper and Travis Scott. The LP is Arts Council England funded, and released on indie label This Is Not Yellow.
